What you need: 1 bottle of plastic cement 1 set of DURA SAND sanding sticks and twigs. I love these things. Unlike the sand paper you get at the hardware store these are made to work on plastics. The package says that they work on other things to but I’ve only tried them on plastic. They are also washable. 1 sprue cutter. this will cut clean and flat. 1 Stikfa figure of course. 1 extra pair of Stikfa hands 1 of those little blue leash thingys from the K-9 Police Unit set
Step 1 Using the sprue cutter, cut the forearm along the edge of the letter L (or R depending) on the end closer to the elbow, like so.
Step 2 Reattach the stub to your Stikfas arm, it’s easier to work with that way.
Step 3 Using the plastic cement attach one of your spare hands to the forearm stump like so. leave the joint of the hand on until the glue sets. The will take two hours, don’t touch it till it sets.
Step 4 In the meantime you can assemble the other part. Use one of the hands to grip the blue leash thingy right up to the socket joint then trim. Use a sanding stick to shorten the pole a bit more. It should be just slightly shorter than the hands width.
Step 5 When the cement has set assemble the wrist and see how it works.
Step 6 Now take the other half of the forearm and trim it down to the length of a hand. All in all you will have taken out the middle of the forearm.
Step 7 After that you will need to cut again, but longways this time. The sprue cutter is not precise enough for this component. You will need the sanding sticks to get the desired shape.
Step 8 Remove the wrist joint so as not to fuze the whole thing, then cement what is left of the forearm to the gap created by the hand.
Step 9 Wait two more hours. I know it sucks but it’s necessary. If you replace the wrist joint before the cement sets you will fuse the whole thing and it will be useless.
Step 10 Finally you can finish up. Reassemble everything then trim and sand till it looks good.
Add some accessories like these sloped handled guns that no Stikfa could shoot strait with till now.
