How brittle is Sculpey (or Sculpey III) after it is boiled or baked?

Sculpey, and Sculpey III, will not harden as well as other products such as Epoxy or modeling clay. In my work with Sculpey III I found that it could be scratched or broken relatively easily after it was boiled. Dropping a part onto a hard surface from about hip-height would usually cause chipping to some degree. Baking may afford a harder final product than boiling, but that runs the risk of melting the Stikfas plastic in the process. Using caution with the final piece, keeping the Sculpey fairly thick and boiling long enough should help keep your customs from damage.
